The Wikimedia genealogy project is an attempt to create a website for genealogy affiliated to Wikimedia. It was begun by Wikipedians and is open to anyone.
It cannot be an integrated part of Wikipedia if it is to include non-notable people, i.e. most ancestors and descendants of most notable people.
