Wilhelm II. von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, Herzog zu Braunschweig und Lüneburg, Fürst von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, Fürst von Calenberg-Göttingen, was born circa 1425 to Wilhelm I. von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel (1392-1482) and Cäcilie von Brandenburg (c1407-1449) and died 7 July 1503 in Hardegsen, Lower Saxony, Germany of unspecified causes. He married Elisabeth zu Stolberg-Wernigerode (-c1520) 26 November 1444 JL .
