Obituary

Sudden Death of Mr. William Clements.

Residents of Crookwell were considerably shocked on Sunday last when it became known that Mr. William Clements, of Burwood, near Bigga, had died suddenly at his residence on Saturday night. From what we can glean it appears that Mr. Clements was in his usual health on Saturday, with the exemption that a slight faintness came over him at about lunch time. It passed off, and he went about as usual up [t]o tea time when he partook of a hearty meal, and afterward sat by the fire reading until he retired to bed. About 12 o'clock his wife heard him moaning, and on striking a light saw that her husband was just passing away. Deceased who was 62 years of age, was well and favourably known throughout the district, having lived near Bigga all his life. A wife and a grownup family of five sons and three daughters are left to mourn their sad loss. The remains will be interred in the family burial ground at Burwood to-day at 2 p.m.
