William Domelle was born 27 October 1882 to Adam Domelle (c1860-) and Christine Rizer (c1860-) and died 20 August 1943 in Jasper, Indiana of unspecified causes.
William Domelle was born in Nagy Osz, Hungary. He was married previously in Europe and had two children, but was divorced prior to emigrating. William played the clarinet and was part of a military band.

The Passenger List for SS Kronprinz Wilhelm states:
- Name listed as Vilmos Domele, aged 28, male, shoe maker, able to read and write, Hungary, German, last residence was Duleo, closest relative in Hungary was wife Magda Domele at Duleo, Kr. Sror(?), final destination Chicago, Ill, has $25, was in US before 1907/08 in Allentown, Pa, going to bro(?) Johann Tisler, 2925 Southpark Ave, Chicago, Ill, 5 foot 6, fair complected, brown eyes and hair, place of birth NagyOsz, Hungary.
The "Johann Tisler" listed above is John Tischler, who married William's younger sister Anna. The "Magda Domele" listed above is William's first wife.
Sometime the next year, William married Elizabeth Obendorfer, who had traveled to the United States on her own. By the 1920 US census, William and Lizzie were listed as residing in Lincoln, Newton County, Indiana. William was now a farmer.
