William Howard WALKER, son of Albert James Walker (1859-1925) and Emma Burwell (1865-1942), owned and operated a "fruit ranch" in Washington State.[1]


William was born on 16 September 1894 in Pleasant Township, Smith County, Kansas.

He bought and operated his father's farm, an old homestead on the open prairies of northern Kansas.

On 31 August 1916, he married Sadie Vella KIRKENDALL of Smith County, Kansas.

Later they moved to Yakima County, Washington.
