William von Wittelsbach, Duke of Bavaria-Straubing, Count of Holland, Count of Zeeland, Count of Hainaut, was born 12 May 1330 in Frankfurt am Main to Ludwig IV. von Wittelsbach (1282-1347) and Margaret II of Hainaut (1311-1356) and died 15 April 1389 in Le Quesnoy of unspecified causes. He married Maud of Lancaster (1339-1362) 1352 JL .
