Yuri Yaropolchich of Pinsk was born 1200 to Yaropolk Yuryevich of Pinsk (c1157-c1203) and died 1223 of unspecified causes.

He participated in the Battle of the Kalka River, in Mstislav III of Kiev team staying on the right bank of the river in a fortified camp. After holding for three days, Mstislav III of Kiev surrendered the with the Princes of Turov and Pinsk and 10 thousand soldiers in return for a promise of safe conduct for himself and his men. Once they surrendered, however, the Mongols executed them. Yuri Yaropolchich and the other nobles were buried and suffocated under the Mongol general's victory platform at the victory feast.
